2 Corinthians 3v7-9
Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.

We read the Old Testament often times in awe of how God showed up physically performing powerful miracles; (Moses, Noah, Joshua) but as Paul explains here, that power and glory pales in comparison to the new covenant with Christ that brings righteousness to all. That power that parted the seas, it is inside us through the Spirit given to us in the resurrection of Christ. Take a moment today to grasp that, feel that, and believe, He is with us and is the same God old testament, new testament, and forever.

2 Corinthians 3 17-18
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 2v14-16
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life.

2 Corinthians 1v3-5
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

Pain is universal and a way we all relate to each other and in turn a powerful way to show the Glory of God to all in sharing how He comforts, strengthens, and delivers us in those times of need.

Today let us begin to look for those hurting and lend our strength from Gods deliverance in our lives to them.

1 Corinthians 15v54-58
“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O death, where is your victory?
"O death, where is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

This is why our lives are worth living. It doesn’t end at death with Christ, for He defeated death and brought true life to all who follow Him.

On this Thanksgiving let us give thanks to our God who believes in our worth for sending His son to die on a cross for us. Our lives our worthy to the God and creator of all and in turn they shall be worthy to us. Not wasted, not standard, not the same, but empowered by the strength that is the resurrected Christ.

1 Corinthians 13v1-3
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

In all that we do if we do it not out of love it is made pointless. Our actions will fade, our words will be forgotten but what is done out of love will last forever. Think about all the greatest lessons we learn in life. They are all rooted in love. And If we want to experience this love we must show it in all we do and in reverence to the ultimate love shown to us on the cross.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
