Phil 1v19 for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

“…what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.” Paul is speaking here of his imprisonment for preaching the name of Jesus. We should take this mind set about any struggles that come our way. God uses these times to build courage and strength as we lean on the faith that He has and will further deliver us from pain to His eternal glory no matter the situation.

Let us find comfort in God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Romans 8v22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Oh how important it is to be aware and live by the Holy Spirit. It is our passage way, the depth of our soul that brings a connection of the created to the Creator. The Spirit knows our deepest desires and communicates them to our Father even when we don’t know how. When we are afraid to ask God, the spirit is already doing so. “The spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the WILL of God. If we live by the Spirit then we are in Gods will. I hear all the time I just want Gods will to be done. Well guess what? It is being done in you and through you since the moment you accepted the Spirit of Jesus Christ into your body as a holy dwelling. You are no longer you but a walking temple of light led by the creator of this earth and there is no reason for us not to live life to the absolute fullest because of this incredible truth.

Romans 8v38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Gods love always prevails, perseveres, and delivers. Nothing can keep us from the love of God through His son Christ who upon our profession of His sacrifice laid His Holy Spirit over us never to escape us. Sometimes we may get caught up in life and miss it but it is always there, we must focus on it and let the peace of His great love reign in our lives.

Romans 6v9 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. 11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 2v13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Christ made a public spectacle of our sin, guilt, and shame defeating it on the cross. So let us give it all up to Him for we are cleansed, we are free, we are ALIVE.
