Ephesians 2v19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Our body is a temple where the spirit of Christ resides. The power, mercy, compassion, love, and grace of His spirit dwells among us as believers and to a point to where we can’t contain it. Jesus is amazing, Jesus is the cornerstone, Jesus is the sacrifice, Jesus is us.

1 John 3v18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Love reveals our faith and just as faith is dead with out action so is love.

1 John 2v4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

We are to strive to live as the spirit that is placed in us did. Of course we all fall short and that is the beauty of grace but let that grace teach us and strengthen Christ our spirit. Allowing it to truly grow and lead us we so that we overcome the world and it’s desires.

17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

2 Corinthian 4v16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

eternal glory > today, yesterday, and tomorrows struggles.

PTL for the spirit of Christ inside us all renewing our earthly bodies for the display of the glory that is to come.

John 12v27 “Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

Jesus owned it. When His inner being was shaken, as the time had come for Him to lay the sin debt of all the people on this earth on His body he owned it. Yes, he did cry out to God for another option (what man wouldnt?) but He knew His time and He took responsibility for it. This should be an inspiring thought to us. When times get rough and our souls get shaken we should realize as believers God is working in that moment, in that struggle to use us as an instrument to display His almighty glory and strength. Let us own it.

Mark 9v21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” 22 “From childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” (it referring to a demonic spirit that had been plaguing the boy since birth) 23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

Jesus asks for full authority that we have no doubt in His ability to do the impossible, and when our faith is shaken he will follow through even more to show His glory to His people. From the lips of Christ, “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Let us challenge our faith to believe that.

24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” 25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” 26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. 28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” 29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”

The power of prayer.
