Our leaders.

1 Timothy 2v1-2
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

Imagine if we fulfilled this duty praying for all around us and those who are officials. Corruption and deceit would fall and our God would prevail. Let us remember those who lead us, in our prayers today and every day and believe in Him to rise up Godly people in the higher offices and bring change and His glory to those with great influence.

Never too far gone.

1 Timothy 1v15-16
The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

We are never too far gone for Christ to make us whole, to make us an example of His glory to those around us. Paul persecuted Christianity to the point of murder yet God used Him in spite of all that to shape believers for over 1900 years and counting. No matter what we have struggled with Christ can redeem. God loves using the down and out to prove the point of His power and goodness.

Comfort.

2 Thessalonians 2v16-17
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.

Eternal hope. Through Christ we have a hope to forever, with Him in his midst and glory. Let that take hold and legitimately comfort us, resolve our anxieties and bring us to true life each and every day.

God's Will

1 Thessalonians 5v16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Here is Gods will for our lives. To have a relationship with Him, to spend time talking to Him, knowing Him and being thankful for all things that come our way. When we do this the big picture will come together and our path will be lit. Let us always pray seeking and thanking God for this is His will for our lives to RELY on Him completely.

Purity.

1 Thessalonians 4v7-8
For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

Our purity is extremely important to God. We see it all through out scripture. Not only does purity prove Gods power in us on the outside (to those around us) but more importantly on the inside. Our body is a temple and not our own we must treat it like so, sacrificing desires of flesh and denying what the devil wants so badly: our soul, our inner thoughts, our Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6v19
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own.
