2 Corinthians 3v7
Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? 9 For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.

Jesus is the game changer. His sacrifice brought the ultimate glory to God, bringing righteousness to us His people. That righteousness defeats the grave, the law, and the enemy, and it is all powerful and alive in us through the Spirit! We must not forget that. PTL.

Psalm 100v3
Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

2 Corinthians 1v9
Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.

This is the beauty of suffering, of patience. God is our rock, His power is our deliverance and we are called to lean on Him and be in is comforting grace and presence. That is where spiritual growth happens, where we get equipped for His plans for what is to come. Let us have faith, let us pray, let us deny ourselves and rely on Emmanuel - God with us.

1 Corinthians 16v13
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love.

Paul ends his first letter to the Corinthians with this statement and it’s a great insight to the way we shall live our lives. It’s easy for us to complicate the Christian walk but Paul sums it up in two sentences. Stand firm in faith and do EVERYTHING out of LOVE.

Psalm 97v10
O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. 11 Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart. 12 Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!

Let us keep our eyes focused on the God who delivers and who brings joy to His people. Today is the day the Lord has made how can we not rejoice?

1 Corinthians 13v4
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

This is a very common verse and easily looked over and treated as a tool for dating but it is absolutely crucial to the life of a follower. I beg us to read this today, soak it in, and remember God’s love for us and how we are nothing without love.

2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
