Philippians 4v11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.

Psalm 46v10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Today, take a minute and stop. Go outside breathe in and look around you. Be still and know the creator of the universe is dwelling among you. He knows you, He is in you, He is all powerful and cares about your every breath and every step. The ground you step on was made by the hands that placed the stars in the sky. Our God is big, take a second today to examine that, to feel that.

Psalm 42v11 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

The Psalmist repeats this verse three time in two chapters as if he is giving himself a pep talk to stay focused and know that God is his deliverer. When our words are of self defeat we must stop ourselves and ask, why are we feeling this way? The God of all creation has us in His love and grace. He always delivers and never too late.

“…for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.”

Psalm 34v17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Luke 18v41 “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” 42 And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

What a great depiction of what our lives in Christ should be. The people saw the power of Jesus and gave praise to God. This is how we are to testify because that same power is found in His Spirit which has been given to us.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Luke 18v27 But he said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.” - Jesus
