Isaiah 1 18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

John 17 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Jesus prayed this for his people, his future followers. I have to live like he has given me the glory, to become one with my God. And to be the light and evidence of God on this earth.

Genesis 2v7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Philippians 2v13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

God is the breath of our beginning the path of our steps. All to fulfill His purpose. Knowing this and striving to acknowledge it in every moment of life is an intensely powerful way to live out our lives and His will. There is no room for fear.

“And if our God is with us then what could stand against?”

1 John 1 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Great passage and truth. We all have this short coming of sin in common which leads me to James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Fellowship is so vital in living this Christian life. We all sin but to confess and to confess to each other as well as God, creates an incredible support system to build up Godly men and women to live defiantly against what the world is begging us to become.

On the other hand 1 John 1:8 is not a passage to use as an excuse to live a worldly life and rely on the grace that we are forgiven. Not only is that disobedience and lacking in faith, it is a terribly unrewarding way to live out life.

We are all sinners no one person is greater or worse.

Love.
