replenish

I sat in the rain today, let it run down my face and rest on my skin. I have been looking for ways to see you God, but today I felt you. It was something I so desperately needed.  I am nothing more than dust you breathed life into, and with that you have given me all of these amazing things I can use for your glory. Watching you replenish the earth and ultimately me I realize my struggles are just stepping stones for me to glorify you with my life.

I have been needing this day for quite some time. Thank you.

A note to my future wife.

Romans 1 verse 9-12 God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God’s will the way may be opened for me to come to you. I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

Paul is writing this to his brothers in Rome but this absolutely applies to the relationship between a man and a woman. It is the perfect explanation of how I believe every man should feel when he is on that journey to find his companion. Be strong, be a leader and trust in God’s will and timing.

Love.
